The aim of the course is to present selected terms related to the organisation of a literary work. The starting point is the most basic distinctions and classifications (e.g. epic/lyric/drama; poetry/prose), completed then with their more specific realisations and variations (e.g. narrative forms, stylistic devices, the rules for composition, literary fiction and non-fiction). Lectures focus on the introduction of literary terms. Classes include the analysis of source materials and their use in literary interpretation.
