The aim of poetics: teaching poetics contributes to the systematic creation of intellectual agility (capacity) in the field of interpretation of texts, literary, critical, cultural, journalistic, etc. Poetics is concerned with numerous literary/cultural methodologies and portrays a wide range of literary and critical themes. It makes an interpretation of texts professional and favours (aesthetic/literary/cultural) thinking. “Explorations in poetics” will prove that a text does not contain fixed structures and meanings but is there to invite the reader to evoke or project a network of interrelated constructs, complementary or contradictory as they may be” (Harshav). Like other kinds of literature/culture/aesthetics, poetics demonstrates the process of the formation of cultural identity as it is firmly embedded in the European/world heritage from ancient Greece to the present times. It may help the Student understand and create a vision of the world which can be used in cultural production of intellectual space, in practical use such as advertisements, commercial breaks or any other aesthetic and creative activity of contemporary life.
