Tifloinformatics addresses issues of information technology for visually impaired people. This is a particularly important issue for IT professionals to recognize so that the technologies they produce and configure are accessible.
As part of the lecture, students learn about the built-in into operating system and other professional tools that visually impaired as well as blind people use. In addition, braille (tactile) printing devices are shown.
A particularly important element presented in the lecture is the WCAG guidelines, according to which we are legally obliged to create software and content published on the Internet.
