The main aim of this subject is to teach students essential cathegories, which are used to describe the geopolitics in the contemporary world. Students ought to be able to analise competently different tiers of geopolitics in the global scale. Students also should be able to explain using theoretical and empirical knowledge that the role of current geopolitics is not only dependent on international relations but also on culture, region, natural resources and other globalised factors. Student should also obtain the knowledge about the crucial elements that influence geopolitics (for instance: security problems, economical challanges, natural resources issues, global warming, climate problems etc.)
