The aim of the course is to familiarize students with advanced issues in the field of modelling 3D objects presented in the form of a cloud of points and polygon meshes obtained from 3D scanners. The method of locating data in the operational memory will be presented, taking into account the optimal access for presentation purposes, data display, as well as due to conducting various analyzes on 3D graphics elements. Familiarizing students with the variety of formats for exchanging 3D graphics objects will allow them to choose the optimal one for the situation being processed. The emphasis is shifted from general presentation techniques to the preparation of spatial objects for 3D printing.
